scott3000may10Stormy Scott beat fellow MRE pilot Ryan Gustin by a bumper to claim the $3,000 USMTS Texas Spring Nationals win Wednesday night at Heart O’ Texas Speedway. Gustin led as the white flag waved, but Scott dove underneath him coming out of turns one and two as they raced down the backstretch. Scott entered in the middle of the track entering the final corners with Gustin topside. Gustin then crossed back underneath Scott as they drag-raced to the checkers with Scott winning by 0.121 seconds at the line.
